• 1-hour Fire Rating - independently tested to resist heat exposure at temperatures of up to 1700 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour with the inside temperature remaining below 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
• 30-ft Impact Rating. To earn the 30-ft impact rating, the file cabinet passed an independent test simulating a fall from a second-story building onto concrete. To pass the test, the file cabinet must remain intact after a 30-ft fall. The test is designed to simulate a catastrophic fire leading to the file cabinet falling through the floor and onto ground level from the second story.
