The Hollon BHS-16E Black Hawk 16 gun safe delivers a full 90 minute fire rating backed by an intumescent door seal that expands under heat to seal the opening against smoke and flame. When minutes matter, this level of protection keeps firearms, documents and valuables intact.

Built heavier than most competing brands, the body and door are formed from 10 gauge steel with an additional 1/4 inch steel plate on the interior of the door, roughly 30 percent thicker steel than the category norm. The finished door measures 5 inches thick and rides on heavy duty vault hinges, with 1-1/2 inch solid steel bolts that shrug off crow bar and pry bar attacks.

Security is managed by a UL Listed Type 1, military grade EMP resistant S&G electronic lock, a genuine differentiator that keeps the safe operable when lesser electronic locks fail. A drill and ballistic resistant hard plate shields the lock from direct attack.

Inside, the safe holds up to 16 Comfort Fit long guns with extra space for extra long rifles.
