The Hollon BHS-22C Black Hawk 22 gun safe is built to protect long guns from both fire and forced entry. A 90 minute fire rating, backed by an intumescent door seal that expands under heat to choke off smoke and flame, gives valuables and firearms a critical margin of safety during a house fire.

Heavy construction sets this model apart. The body and door are formed from 10 gauge steel with an additional 1/4 inch steel plate inside the door, roughly 30 percent thicker steel than most competing brands. The resulting 5 inch thick door, fourteen 1-1/2 inch solid steel bolts and heavy duty vault hinges resist crow bar and pry attacks.

Security is managed by a time-tested S&G Group 2 mechanical dial combination lock, protected behind a drill and ballistic resistant hard plate. With no batteries or electronics to fail, the dial delivers dependable access year after year.

Inside, a foam backed cushioned deluxe liner, corded trim shelving and a steel reinforced top shelf organize up to 22 Comfort Fit long guns, with extra space for extra long rifles.
