The Hollon CS-36C Crescent Shield gun safe delivers a full 75 minute fire rating, giving long guns, ammunition and important documents a serious buffer against house fires. A heat activated intumescent fire seal runs the perimeter of the door and expands to seven times its original size when temperatures climb, sealing out flame, heat and the smoke that quietly ruins firearms and paperwork.

Security is built around 1.25 inch chrome steel locking bolts, 25 percent thicker than the industry standard, arranged in a full wrap across the top, bottom, hinge and opening sides. A drill and ballistic resistant hard plate shields the lock pack from attack, while the vault style hinge lets the door swing a full 180 degrees for easy access in tight rooms and closets.

Access comes from a time tested S&G Group 2 mechanical dial combination lock. There are no batteries to replace, no electronics to fail and no dead keypad at the worst possible moment, just proven mechanical reliability year after year.
